Servings : 4 people

Ingredients :

-40g pitted dates (3 mejdool)

-1/2 tablespoon of raw cacao powder (alternatively you can use unsweetened cocoa powder)

-3 tablespoon of hazelnut butter (almond butter also works)

-150ml almond or cashew milk

Directions :

-Place the dates and milk in a saucepan on a low heat and allow the dates to melt.

-Add all the remaining ingredients and keep on stirring so it doesn’t stick to the pan.

-Pour everything in a blender or a food processor and mix until you have a smooth mixture.

-You can adjust with more milk if you’re aiming for a more liquid consistency.

-Pour it directly over your pancakes or crepes or keep it for later*.

*You can keep it in the fridge for 3 days. You can have it cold but it tastes better when previously re-heated.
